building at 17-25 Saint Nicholas Avenue

The landlord does not maintain the building. There is no heat. For the past 5 years we frequently have less than 50 degrees. The building smells, is filthy. The Super does not clean; when he mops he uses dirty water. The management company does not return calls and it takes forever to get repairs... when they do repair it is the Super's friends who have no clue how to repair anything. Do NOT move into this building. There is also frequent shootings in the neighborhood. I know couple of the tenants have been robbed outside the building too; and one tenant's boyfriend was robbed inside of the building. Please the landlord is overcharging the tenants in rent. Check your rent registration history with DHCR.
