They are delusional asking almost 2 mil for a 1200 sq ft apartment in LIC, right next to an abandoned warehouse. Floorplans seriously cramped; too many BRs squeezed into too few square feet.

CCL3, I understand you are trying to buy in this market ... but prices are different from your expectations now ...LIC, Harlem etc...Someone will buy if not you

I don't think that Kalahari for 1.2M in manhattan @ 40 west 116th str in full service building looks overpriced even based on this listing.Its still a bargain , i just dont know how people are not realizing it.
What is around LIC?- nothing,
What is around Kalahari?- Central park 5 blocks away , plenty of new restaraunts, Columbia, Madison ave , 5 th ave.
Do you think LIC is better than west 116th str?

Why are we talking about Kalahari here, and I said 1.15-1.2m was appropriate there depending on the size of the apartment. You also continue to compare brand new buildings with higher end finishes with a mid-market product. I'm not keen on that building for myself and am looking at newer stuff. If someone wants to buy this listing more power to them,(though there are several 1200 sq ft condos in midtown manhattan on the market for $1.8 now) but you can't go looking around street easy and deny the increasing number of price chops and apartments sitting on the market for months-years. I am continuing to watch and wait.
