Are they still planning to build a 10 story hotel directly adjacent to this apartment?

A few weeks ago the city issued a demolition permit for the little building next door at #20, and there've been permits issued for the new hotel.

The compass rose on #1205's plan shows the terrace facing east, but the text and photos say west.
