Discussion about 117 Kingsland Avenue in Williamsburg
Well, it appears that the closest subway stop is the L train which is going to be shut down for 1.5 years for repairs, so that might have something to do with it. Only other option at a half mile away is the G, which does not go into Manhattan.
It will be interesting to see what effect the L train shut down will have on the neighborhoods which have grown exponentially in the last decade or so.
Hi there, I am listing 3A at 117 Kingsland. It's correct that the Graham Avenue L is the closest stop walking but there is a bus literally steps from the door that will get you to the G or J/M/Z stops. If you have any questions please let me know. Best, Nicole
Nicole, can you weigh in on the first question?

Ouch. Parts of M line to be shut down as well. https://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20160708/bushwick/j-z-trains-will-run-local-during-10-months-of-m-train-repairs-mta-says
And that is with the closure still being ?3 years? away. But who's to say it's all because of the L train - could be over supply, etc.
Bushwick wil have the same issue and i don't see any slowdown in the market. Commuting time with the G at Court sq for Downtown or Uptown won't be that much .Not everybody is working in Manhattan ,i live in WB and works in Queens,i use the L only week ends .
Fignar sorry for late reply. No issues with the building. Developer has two units for sale and a few owners are selling just a coincidence-in this case and small building. Anyone who is interested in seeing 3A please join me at open house this Sunday the 21st from 12:30-2PM. Best, Nicole
