Discussion about The Colonnade at 347 West 57th Street in Hell's Kitchen

What's up with not being able to receive deliveries after 11pm. up to your apt. YOU have to go downstairs. ON Sunday's you will not be able to receive deliveries at your apt.. YOU have to go downstairs as well. Also note that the same applies from 11pm until 8am the next day.

The Police did a security audit of our building and made those same recommendations. There are very few legal businesses that make deliveries during those hours. The police suspected that they were illegal activities going on in 2 apartments. They recommended that all visitors to any apartmentsshow id and sign in at the front desk between midnight and 6 AM. Suddenly the suspect apartments had a dramatic drop in their night time guests.

As for weekends during the day, it's considered a quality of life issue as most people are home on the weekends.

As someone who has had multiple packages stolen while living in NYC, I agree with these precautions!
