Discussion about 54 East 1st Street #2B
No floor plan? Sketchy.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish by your serial posts, but there is a floorplan on the prior listing. It is not pretty, no closets, the bedroom is a joke and basically a wide hallway. Surprising that someone paid $430k for this in 2009.

Look is just frustrated and venting. It all started on a Sunday evening. All fair for a public chatroom. Perhaps he can consolidate all his complaints into a single thread.

or maybe since he is so disgruntled over Manhattan prices he can buy...elsewhere. Look, look, it's a big world out there. How about Fargo ND? I bet there you will get your favorable pricing.

@steveF if you think the units I looked at are good values, feel free to buy them. Otherwise, you can keep your opinions to yourself because, no offense but your reply is silly and doesn't offer anything of substance.

And complaining that people aren't renovating their apartments before putting them on the market is offering something of substance?

look, to complain about unattractive carpeting or mirrors? Are you kidding me? Who cares. Talk about location, layout, floor level, views, livable square footage etc...that's what's important forget the hideous counter tops.

@30yrs & @steveF aren't you both NY real estate shills, but thanks for your input, it goes in the box labeled trash. You talk about what YOU want to talk about, because a listing that doesn't include a floor plan SHOULD include one. Cheers boys.

look, 30y has been very valuable contributor to the board and always willing to help. He is a broker but he has a tendency to call it as he sees it rather than just pump real estate.

When you're looking at $400k thru $600K apartments in Manhattan, you're scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Easy to complain about finishes but I agree with steveF, not very important.
