Just from a quick check, many of these apartments have been on and off the market for years, gradually lowering the asking price. The closets seem small in many of the apartments.

I wonder if the condo board has the power to change the name of the building.

Name would not deter me. If apts lose money because of name, that is good for buyer. Memories are short.

Referring to the historical listing prices was the price going when the trump poll numbers were going up and now down for both?

The one that used to be a land lease was Trump Plaza. The co-op bought its land several years ago, though.

Trump Plaza is just another condo. Trump still owns the retail and a bunch of storage units.

The condo board will be glad to see the last of 19B's owner. Yesterday the condo filed a Lien of Common Charges against her for $36,000+.

Re: the name, if it's like the others the name is licensed from Trump, and the name has to stay Trump whatever unless he decides otherwise. The condo has no say.

NWt It looks like 19B stopped paying maintenance a few months after listing the apartment in 2015. I've known of people who do that, figuring they will settle up with the condo at closing.

I'm willing to be there's a way out of the name licensing agreement.

Turns out, no mention of licensing in Trump Palace's offering plan or condo declaration. Trump is the sponsor, so has rights as long as he owns any unit. Maybe the license is necessary only when he's not the sponsor.

Either way, the big shiny brass Trump signs on Trump Palace need some shining. The big one at the Third Avenue corner is all tarnished.

There's a story in today's paper about tenants in the three Riverside Blvd rentals (140, 160, 180) petitioning the owner (Equity Residential) to take the name off and just use the addresses. No go yet, but they're getting new rain mats and new uniforms without the tainted name.

Yeah, and many of the casinos in NJ also took down the Trump names.

Today's paper: "Sales in Trump Buildings Fall Off" http://nyti.ms/2dOiu6g

Even the ones without the Putin-baroque style favored by DJT.

I dnt know about the Soho Trumpbuilding. The numbers /structure just may not be working out. Most investors are not that short sighted.

Update for Trump Palace. Beautiful update elegant hallways in process. If you have a broker showing you a unit at 200 East 69th Street, ask them to show you the 14th floor. They should be completed by the summer.
