Discussion about 40 West 72nd Street in Lincoln Square
The Bancroft has just finished a full hallway renovation they are much brighter and nicer than before. The Coop also paid off their underlying mortgage. They are really in great shape now, that's why the more recent sales have shown quite a bump in pricing.

Actually they refinanced the mortgage a year or so ago so there’s a new one.

I realize this is an old string but will ask anyway: any idea if the Bancroft's coop has paid off its mortgage?

They refinanced it to get a lower rate and pay for some long-term improvements
