NO!!
I better hurry up and move to Chicago.
I hear my chances of being shot there are next to none...right?
Cityspire has been cancelled, and Trump Chicago can't sell.
Noone is building ANYTHING in Chicago now, and Rufus complains that one of 500 projects is on hold?
Laughable...
Chicago Spire is not cancelled; it's merely on hold for an extra year or so. Ty Warner, the founder of beanie babies, already bought the penthouse for $40 million.
Trump Chicago sold most of its units. The penthouse is still on the market.
Do you mean Trump International, Cracker Boy?
> Chicago Spire is not cancelled; it's merely on hold for an extra year or so.
Uh, yeah... and I've got a bridge to sell you.
> Ty Warner, the founder of beanie babies, already bought the penthouse for $40 million.
No, he put down a deposit... which he'll likely get back once the time period has lapsed.
Got to love that Chicago's richest person sells stuffed animals.
nyc10022, Ty Warner is a self-made billionaire, worth around 5 billion. He could live anywhere he wants to but yet bought a condo in Chicago, NOT NYC.
Ty Warner has a deposit on one apartment in Chicago, and yet chose to own the entire Four Seasons Hotel in New York.
Four Seasons Hotel anagrams to 'Use Sheraton, fools!' . . . I'm addicted.
So Chicago can lay claim to the guy who made Beanie Babies and the lead singer of Wilco.
Boy oh boy that is might impressive Rufus. Is that kind of info used in Chicago's tourism campaigns?
"Come see Chicago, where the guy who made little sacks full of pebbles shaped like animals, which was a huge fad for 2 years in the late 90s, calls home!"
and of course "Come to Chicago and see the almighty Jeff Tweedy! He can turn water into wine and walk across the Chicago River!"
