Discussion about
trust is everything and once it's lost it's hard to rebuild. where would manhattan be without finance? And where will it be without socialism? 2008 changed manhattan as we know it forever.

free market theory was based from chicago... names? fama, friedman, scholes, black. all from chicago. rufus would probably take the bait.

I haven't trusted Wall St since before I had money to trust them with. I bet a large number of those 3/4 feel the same.

"Envy is a bitch"

Except that distrust was proven 100% accurate... perhaps you meant the envy in the other direction?

so what does this mean about NYC real estate?
could benefit as more investors pour money into RE or
could agrivate price delines as less money invested into Wall Street and salaries.

I never trusted wall street. A lot of the financial guys who are commentators on those tv shows have weird toupees and a used car dealer vibe about them.
