Discussion about
34 full-floor residences. Great design, perfect location. It's right next to all the fine dining and nightlife options in river north. Too bad NYC real estate can't compete with this. http://www.50eastchestnut.com
but it's in Chicago.location,location.location
You've obviously never been to the area around rush street. It's a clean upscale area that has great nightlife and dining. What's NYC's equivalent? Please don't say tribeca, west village, soho. Those neighborhoods are dirty and grimy compared to river north.
Rush Street, affectionately nicknamed "Frat Row".
I hope one of the amenities at 50 East Chestnut is a rooftop airstrip capable of handling longhaul aircraft -- its tenants will want to get to a major city fast and frequently.
alanhart, thanks for once again showing your ignorance. No one calls rush street "frat row." You're thinking of the small section of division street between rush and clark.
340 east randolph is one of the nicest condos in the country. NYC has fallen behind Chicago when it comes to luxury highrise condos. Even the folks on wirednewyork forum admit this, such as the renowned poster, antinimby.
PsychoCrackerBoy has finally done it -- he's directly replying to one of his own posts (as JohnAnthony), using another logon (quantum)!!!
That provides the basis for the State to put him under forced psychiatric observation for 30 days. And not a minute too soon.
Schizophrenic. Last night he was JA. This morning he woke up as quantum. After he gets pwned for his quantum comments and takes his morning meds he'll return with a post under Rufus.
He's going more crazy than usual this morning because it's currently 5 degrees (-4 with windchill) where he lives: http://www.accuweather.com/us/in/hammond/46320/city-weather-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&u=1&traveler=1
JohnAnthony is Rufus, who was rejected by his dream school and dream city, Columbia and New York City.
He loved the city until sour grapes set in...
This is all well documented...

He is so jealous he spends all day trying to post negatively about NYC.
Man, this guy is so pathetic...
"got rejected at columbia business and am pretty devastated."
"Oh well. I have to spend an extra year in shitty Chicago and reapply for round 1 next year."
"I've been to NYC several times but haven't really partied extensively. But almost everyone I've talked to who lives there tells me how NYC is so much fun and doesn't really get boring, people are interesting, etc. To what extent is this true? What makes NYC so much more fun than other cities like LA, SF, Boston, Chicago, etc.?"
"I live in Chicago but have been to NYC quite a few times and noticed a very sharp difference in the respective social scenes. Chicago seems much more fratty and bar oriented while NYC is a bit more upscale and pretentious. The girls in NYC also dress a lot better as well. I would like to hear opinions on this subject from those of you familiar with both cities."
"Thanks for the encouragement. I'm just really bummed out since I'm 27 years old, and now is the perfect time to go. And socially, I'm extremely dissatisfied with Chicago and really want to be in NYC. I just have to improve my application for next year and hope things turn out better"
Now that he's been rejected multiple times, he's changed his story a bit.
nyc10022 you are officially Rufus police.
