Discussion about
This week I have noticed more listings in contract in my updates than I have for months. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

They have increased by about 15-20% (this is for a very small time period, however, less than a month).

What do you think is driving that? I don't think we're anywhere near bottom yet. Is it just seasonal?

wasn't there a thread a couple weeks ago saying that almost no listings in contract were being added?

Perhaps this is just the glitch being fixed...

There usually is a seasonal uptick. Also, when prices adjust downward at every step you'll find a certain group of people who feel comfortable going forward, for whatever reasons. It's running at somewhere around 430-460/30 days. For some perspective, most years see somewhere in the neighborhood of 10000 sales, or 830 per 30 days, with quite a bit more contracts signed in the bonus period, spring and early-fall periods.

Inventory has been trending upward, now at over 10,000 for 30 days.

well lo888, if you're trying to time the market then yes it's a big deal......yes you def. need to worry and start crunching those numbers again.
