Rent to Own -UWS

Sounds like the co-op buildings marketed as "shares of ny". This is the first I've heard of it. If you don't end up buying, you'll pay more in rent than you could negotiate now from another LL

I went to the OH to look at the units they advertised. Something is really off with 'shares of ny' they told me that the lowest price 1 bed had been rented out and proceeded to show me a 500 sq ft 1 bed for $565K - and basically indicated that they would rent anything they couldn't sell. You may want to check out for yourself - but personally the sales pitch and agents were so strange that I woud seriously question doing business with them. There's a few more threads on this with pretty much the same opinion
