What is going on with The Sheffield57 (322 West 57th)? The whole building is in pre-forclosure in RealtyTrac.

Anyone have more on this? Rental asks seem to be taking a pounding?

This was the building they tried to convert from rental, and they had a LOT of stablized tenants. Some of them sued and won (from what I recall).

So this one was a problem from the getgo, not necessarily indicative of overall market (although that certainly did not help).
