Regardless of your religious views, please let me know whether you think Easter Sunday is a bad day on which to hold an open house. Past experiences?
Not a good day. You can be sure that you will get 50-70% less visitors than a regular Sunday if even that much. Better to wait another week or have it the week before. That Saturday would not be good either.
you are only shopping for one buyer, why not.
So, most people think it is a waste of time to have an open house on Easter Sunday?
Yeah, IMO, skip Easter Sun.
I agree with patient09 - for some, it's just another sunday...
Absolutely a waste of time.
Take the weekend off and relax.
No one will show up...certainly don't advertise it.
407pas: one other thought, it only takes one buyer! If you think your apt is priced right and are showing it yourself, you may have the opportunity to spend good quality time with the one or two visitors who do venture out. It is a big ass city, lots of different religious views. If your buyer may not care, why should you. So what if you get 2 visitors instead of 10.
patient09,
I hear you. You got to be open in order to do business.
your building may have higher visitor traffic that day. not good for elevator talk
nice unit - the hols can be slow but as said above for some just another day.
Any day in 2009 is a bad day to hold an open house.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
I am not going out for OH on holidays.
