Discussion about
Any opinion on this building, I been looking for a one bedroom apt and one coworker mention several open houses, so I went to take a look. Seems like a fully service building. Still a bit on a fringe area. saw a one bed for around 900$/sqf seems high to me, but my friend mention that the same apt used to sell for 875K last year. Any opinions comments.
220 Riverside Blvd. is a very nice building. After all, it is a Trump building. However, I am not sure I would classify it as a "fringe" area. It's not like it's in Harlem or WIlliamsburg. Sure it's a bit of a walk from the subway, but if you buy a unit on an upper floor, the views of the river and NJ are amazing!
sadly the unit I am looking at is a low floor, facing courtyard. So no nice view of the hodson river. Still I was impressed with the amenities and the quality of the units. I been in north piers in williamsburg and this building is in another league. Still want to here downsides to this place, so I get a balanced opinion. too new to nyc to know all what I should know about that area of manhattan.
sorry for all the typos using my small computer
well, a downside is that it's not brand new. And you are going to hear the highway noise depending on where the unit is.
well thanks for the input
The trek in the winter can be quite bad. It gets quite windy there. Have you seen this thread?
