Sorry, but can anyone tell me how to use ACRIS to search for sales prices of a particular apartment?

it's a pain...i am novice but google acris and there is a tiny link in the middle of the page which is what takes you to what you really need

If you just want sales prices
http://www.nyc.gov/html/dof/html/property/property_val_sales.shtml
is probably easier to use (it is for me)

looking -- that's no fun, you can do all kinds of cool things with Acris, like looking up how much your coworker paid for their coop.

However, Acris will not display the amount of a deed transfer before 2000 (i think) and coop sales information before 2005 (someone correct me on that). I couldn't find the dates when I searched the discussions.

I think someone showed Jim the other day how you could calculate that based on the tax filing -- but it might have been in the thread that was deleted. Regardless, I agree with Jim that SE needs to have a wikipedia so that all these questions can be stored in one place rather than being asked week after week - that's no slam against you silentwaiter.
