Cost of moving from 1 apt to another?

I'm just moving to NYC from a different city. I'll be looking to rent a studio or 1bed. I plan on buying all my furniture (ie not moving much). Question: What's the general cost of moving (assuming you need to use a moving service) from one building to another and have people found the process overly difficult or easy or somewhere in the middle? The reason I ask is because there's an under-market-value 6 month sublet available, but then I'd have to move in 6 months as I can't afford the market-value lease renewal. Or do I just go for a market-value 1 year lease, and not have to deal with the hassle of moving this year?
