Study Ranks City's Worst Landlords

The new list is out of the worst landlords in the city. When it comes to being a slumlord, Eli Abbot and his company, College Management, have slumloard game on lockdown. They own three side-by-side 22 unit buildings on College Avenue in the Bronx. The three buildings have racked up over 724 violations in a recent inspection. Residents have gotten used to rats knowing at their refrigerators, cockroaches everywhere, pealing paint and crumbling ceilings and infrastructure. The only repairs that have ever been done in the three buildings were paid for by the city, the landlord hasn’t put in a dime.
