Ok w67 = 1 point. NYC RE BULLs =0 (that's with every american taxpayer backing every mortgage under the sun for 6 years and savers earning .03% on their savings over this same period). Apple pays 3% div. ford pays 3% div. which stk has better potential for explosive growth?

Savings account pays .005%. Which is gonna allow you to retire in 20 yrs.

Mortgages at 3% for 30yrs, nyc re barely treading water. Where would I rather have 30 to 1 leverage going forward? Flmaozz.

Lets see nyc re go up another 300% in 13 yrs. so stks have done squat for 13yrs. So I'm gonna bet stk up go up for 13 yrs and nyc re will flatline.

We all know w67thstreet is a joke.
Only thing he got right was 'robbing' his parent's retirement funds and used 10% of that money on sprint. The other 90% when to APPL at 600 bucks.

OUCH!

Talking about the ultimate buy high sell low guy.

Thank You w67thstreet. You and your gang here are total losers. I know quite a few people that would LOVE to have a few words with you because of your 'great' advice during the 2008-2009 recession.

I don't need love, just 6% of the sprint run up. I got mine. $2mm (200%) gain on $1mm invested in just over a year. If you wanna wait a few more years and give me a chk based on sprint @ $14/share and w67 at $6mm total. Thatz fine.

Pls send to:

w67th, welcome back BTW. As you can see, the SE world has moved into bizarro land.

ph41: w67th lives in a shitty rental condo in the UWS where the avg condo goes for $1100-1200 ppsf. I live in a fabulous midtown apt overlooking 2nd Ave, a post-war coop where the last 3 sales were for $650-700 ppsf. Fabulous!

LIC: w67 was not buying stocks despite threads going back 3-4 years documenting some of his buys here. He did not buy S at $2.40. Let's pretend he bought AAPL at $600 just because he said he likes it at $390. All big shot investors live in LIC.

So what, that's nothing ... Rico bought LIC at 4, and it's now up to 5. He's going to hold until it hits 6, then sell. He's using the brilliant "buy low, sell high strategy" described in the link below.

This thread from a year ago does not exist: http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/30121-dow-sp-500-at-highest-levels-since-2008

ericho75 did not say: I would be a seller at these levels.

The market is not up 16% since.

w67th did not say: BTW, I'm in 160K shares of Sprint at $2.3.

He is not up 3X. ericho75's predictions DID come true: You'll lose it all just like everything else.

LIC _is_ on fire! That smell filling your nostrils is the smoke he's been blowing.

Hey ino - i overlook the East River, Empire state building, world trade center and north for ever. Yes, it's terrible to live in 3,000 sf in midtown.

but w67 lives in an old condo, not renov'ed by his LL, and definitely not reno'd by W67 (after all it's not his) and worse for wear as I don't think he takes care of it, because, after all, it isn't his, and that's the way he treats it.

That's a pleasant fiction, ph41. There you have w67th living in an UWS hovel. Meanwhile you have views of all around from some mid-rise post-war on 2nd Ave, despite being surrounded by high-rises. Work Trade Center -- WTF??? I'm sure you can see north as far as the eye can see, as long as you peer up 2nd Ave, and the view of the river two avenues away over the tunnel entrance is great.

W67th, maybe you can scrape together a little money for $650 ppsf to be living the exclusive life with ph41? Then you can make inappropriate & pretentious comments too.

Apple at $390 is NO fiction. I'm in $1.5mm at $390. If it drops after earnings, ill double up to earn 4.5% div yield.

w67 is pretty sure the $3mm in apple plus nyc re regressing to mean of $500psf will net a $6mm in net worth swing for w67 and family. That's $2mm already on sprint and an additional $6mm.

Grow $8mm at 5% for 20 yrs. maybe I can afford a firepit and a post menopausal Middle Aged arm candy with too much attitude. Perchance to dream. Perchance to desire. Perchance to stick it into a firepit.

Sound like you were bullish stocks, but you seem to have shot your wad on LIC: "I was renting and didn't stumble on to this site until early 2009 when i decided that the time is right to make my first purchase." Too bad.

Talk is great, but how much did you end up putting into RE vs. stocks early 2009? Did you sell stocks to buy RE?

Here is w67th doubling up on ConEd:
http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/19922-water-costs-going-up

And then there's the matter of w67th tripling up on Sprint, despite your calls that he'd lose it all.

Wow what a great day. Apple is becoming a coned/AT&T with 100% chance of 50% up side over the next 3 yrs. Where is apple goona trade $200/share? That's cash on hand plus 1yr earnings?

The naysayers that say dividends are an admission of lack of opportunities. When is spending $150b to create 'Angry birds' an 'opportunity?' Or buying LIC condo with 20x leverage and 3% 30 yr?

An 'opportunity' is when apple can create the ibank for $2b and make another 10% return overseas on $150b cash by creating its own Iphone based credit card. Why pay Deutsche bank 19% interest. Pay 10% on ibank and get a free song download!

Ercinco. Short me on apple. I'm in 2000 shares.

Retards. When IPhone 6 comes out with retinal recognizability and ability to have 100% security on iPhone based purchases. Will the cheap bastards having become used to apple ecosystem switch to androids?

I don't care if you buy Apple TV for $99.... It's the beginning...

Ford just came out with earnings. 10% margins and 3% div. w67 sold all his ford (30% run up) and bought more apple. This is easy.

Enricho gloats at breaking even on a bond when long rates goes down 400bps in 4 yrs.

W67 gloats for making $2mm on a $1mm investment in sprint 1 yr ago when enricho was laughing cause it went down from $2.4 to $2.3. It's at $7.10. Today. W67 was down 2 days in my entire holding of sprint. That you for encouraging w67 to double down on sprint. Wo you enricho to light my fire and believe in my own financial acumen w67 would have never bought sprint with such conviction. And thank you inonada for making me remember what it feels like to make a few bucks on a stock (coned).

It's called sportsmanship. 'You look the opponent that kicked your azz and say you were the better athlete today.' W67 believes enricho throws like a girl and hop scotch is not an Olympic sport.

Isn't First Solar the Walton(Walmart)-backed company that's centered exclusively around big centralized solar "farms"?

I don't think that's how solar will pan out, needing as it does a whole transmission network, versus an efficient rooftop solution, which I think will be achievable for most of the world (in good time). Unless lobbying makes it so, of course.

I live in dread of small-nuclear-plant driven hydrogen/energy-storage solutions.

They once peaked at $300 a share. THey are still capped at over a billion dollars and billion dollar companies don't frequently disappear, even a sector as poor as this.

W67 admits to being too bearish on stocks. But you do know with my 401k and my wife's 401k and kids trust funds. I was always in equities. I rode it down and up between between 2007 and 2013.

What you fail to realize is the question that I've been asking all you re humpers. Would w67 and family be better off leveraging the $1mm cash kitty we had been saving for the down payment on our c6 in nyc in LIC condos with 20x leverage and 3% mortgages or taking a calculated financial risk on sprint or apple (now).

$2mm gain on sprint in one year and w67 took less financial risk. And now I am betting apple at $390/share is much much much less rizkier than that POS LIC condo you think has fully come back.... Btw apple at $418. That 6% cap gain and 3% div. in 4 days. Do you think your LiC condo will be up another 9% in a year. Actually 15% cause as yikes points out my Etrade acct charges my $9.99.

Flmaozz. Sportsmanship. Yeah the Fed did a lot more than I thought they would or could. They pumped the bubble on re again. Amazing. You see it as a chance to gloat. If you were my 'friend' I'd advise you to get the fk out.

>apple at $440! and greenie doing the same old same old... how many men touched your wife w67?

You know, you never actually clarified it was men until now. Interesting.

Actually Truth, the correct grammar is "you and ME", but you always try so hard to seem classy, without the knowledge, that of course you wouldn't know that.

And of course you know all about renovations. Odd that when you sold your apartment there were no pictures at all of the kitchen or bathroom, which is, as we all know, a dead giveaway that they were old and in bad shape.

Keep on trolling.

Oh, and since you lasted all of one year in your fabulous apartment in BAY RIDGE, are you just camping out on other peoples' beds now?

I think you owe Truth an apology, ph41, not more vitriol. Posting where someone lives is not nice. Nor is making fun of their living arrangements.

But really, don't even you find yourself ironic given that apts in your building have been going for $650-700 ppsf? Is it that in real life, you'd be laughed off for pulling this more-fabulous-than-thou routine, but here in the anonymous confines of SE you think you can pull it off?

Right INO, keep on trolling me. You have no idea where I live, or what apartments in my building sell for. And you would never find this apartment on line anywhere (as the floorplan doesn't exist even in the prospectus).

And the only one who seems to think that I try to be more "more fabulous" than she"
or that I am a "snob" is the insecure Truth. It's really her problem, not mine.

Let's face it, everyone on SE hates trUth, except for her BFFs, inonada and guywithcat.

Ph41 -- trolling? No, I just call you on your rude more-fabulous-than-thou delusions. Look at this thread. Your contributions are calling w67th's condo "shitty" and picking on poor little Truth and her apt's condition.

Any case, maybe I do know where you live, maybe I do know what apts in your building have sold for. Only one way to find out. Doing things like posting links to apts of unwitting posters on an anonymous board is not my thing -- that kind of disrespectful behavior is for you. But give me the go-ahead if you like...

Nada, I agree. But you might recall truth outing herself very deliberately on SE, maybe she was high or drunk, who knows?

I have known "truth's" identity for years. And I forwarded her listing to some people, but I never would have posted identifying info here. But I bet truth would not have hesitated, had she had the info . So it's a mixed bag, pun intended.

W67 only comes out when things are up. S and AAPL both down these days, but what isn't. I have lots of AAPL and it is painful to watch.

S is doing just fine. Shouldn't be doing M+A arb

As for AAPL, I was waiting to see if it hit $390 before bringing up this thread.

HB, seems that $390 will soon be upon us. Ugly, but if you are long-term investor seems like it will be good opportunity soon.

So Ottawa, what's lately with all the Canadian mayors?

I think that the interim mayor - who replaced the mayor who resigned after bribery allegations - has now also resigned after being arrested for bribery charges. Crack smoking/constantly drunk Toronto mayor still in office. Fortunately none have tried to do anything as outlandish as a shared bike program, so no real outrage.

Sorry - it is the two montreal mayors who resigned for bribery.

Now it's here.

inoitall bought at $435 and said he'd buy more if it declined. Now, at $390, w67's price, will he buy?
w67 said he'd buy if it went lower ...

Poor fella, then again there's no sympathy for the idiot that follows the action of a clown.
