So, apparently the asking rents in this new building are 3K / month for like a 300 sqft apartment! I get building smaller apartments for people who want something cheaper, but wtf, for 3K you can actually rent a reasonably sized place that you can put a normal (not murphy) bed in. And it's not even in a super expensive neighborhood. I could see spending 3K / month on a 300 sqft apartment in tribeca, but not kips bay.
