Parking space - where can I buy them?

Hey guys, I want to buy a parking space in NYC. Do you guys know where I can get them? I am sick of paying $600 for my parking every month since I plan to settle in NYC. Also, say that I leave NYC permanently, do you guys think it's worth it to keep the parking space for monthly rentals to other ppl? Thank you and I am sorry for a newbie question!
