Our average heating/electric bill during the winter of 2025 was $1200 per month. The water heater is also electric, so even in the summer you will be spending around $300 a month electric bills for a 2 bedroom apt. This expensive heating system also doesn't supply adequate heat. Our temperatures averaged around 50 degrees last Winter. 311 complaints were filed, but unfortunately the 311 staff ignore heat complaints unless there is absolutely no heat. The landlord is well aware of this issue and plans to prepare for this heating season with more baseboard heaters. So apts may be heat compliant this Winter, but the electric bills will be increasing significantly. [less]
