100K would be a bargain I would guess at least double that, but like everything in life...it depends.

thanks for the estimates. Are these from personal experience or just estimations?

There are plenty of discussions about renovation costs and even the process of renovations on this discussion board. There is a Search Discussions function on the right side of your screen. Long story short, likely $200-300 sq ft.

Two years ago i went to the home show.. i met with someone there and when i told them my budget was 100k (for 800sq ft). they told me that would be hard.
I would say a very nice (not super deluxe is 150k and up)

Postwar apartments are made out of sheetrock and composite paper -- you can literally renovate with a steak knife. If you spend 200-300/sf for that reno, there's a problem. Prewar's a different story and that figure sounds correctish.

doesnt it depend on the quality...ie cant a kitchen cost between $15k and a $100k? ....its all so subjective....are you going low/medium or high end?

Call 646-721-2266 ask for Sharon,
His company had just finished a large scale renovation for one of my biggest storage client...
They are inexpensive and deliver high end finishes.

what is a 7/9 kitchen? are those dimensions? or a term like "junior four" / "classic six"?
