http://www.woot.com/ will these work?? also, my hives died this year--i'm bummed--have any of you lost hives over the winter this year too?--mine have been fine the last three winters, now death---i was looking forward to having bees again--karma??

For you? Yes, karma. And upside-down tomato plants make lousy blt's.

Really, where would you grow upside-down tomatoes where you can't just grow them in a big planter (where they'll be happier)?

Couldn't make the link work, but from the other comments, I'm assuming they are upside-down tomato planters.

They don't work. The reason is that when you water a tomato plant, you shouldn't get the leaves wet. The wet areas, if not dried by the sun pretty quickly (within a couple of hours), might rot. The upside-down system encourages water running down the stems, and leaves.

So, no. They don't work.
