Harvard or Bunker Hill Community College?

Remember, Bunker Hill Community College is where Robin Williams taught during Good Will Hunting.

It would be more like NYU or Cuny?
I don't think it's so clear cut.

It's a trick question, because Bunker Hill Community College isn't actually on Bunker Hill.

Where is Jimmy Hofstra buried? [And don't say Grant's Tomb.]

Neither.
Hofstra doesn't rate against the top SUNY's
and there are far better Ivy leage schools than Yale.
Believe Yale is known for drama though.

Yale ranks fifth out of eight ivy league schools in terms of mid career median salary , and 7th out of 8th in terms of
starting median salary. Considering the cost of an ivy league education there's better. MIT also beats Yale

Princeton University Ivy League $58,900 $123,000
Dartmouth College Ivy League $54,100 $123,000
Harvard University Ivy League $57,300 $121,000
University of Pennsylvania Ivy League $59,600 $111,000
Yale University Ivy League $52,600 $110,000
Brown University Ivy League $49,400 $109,000
Cornell University Ivy League $57,500 $106,000
Columbia University Ivy League $54,300 $99,700

well, money is everything, no? actually, many very successful people, particularly academics, etc., don't make a huge amount of money. and they tend to want to go off and do "good" things.

not surprised RS had to come up with such a dubious metric. and an ivy "league" education is often quite cheap for someone attending yale.

dartmouth, hah! the husband went there.

But Yale actually blows away all the other schools at the 75th percentile. I saw the full details of the same study.

You're going to get a lot of do-gooders. And columbia will get the locals. You have to factor them out.

But the Yalies that go for money make more money than the others.

starting salary... that's funny.

The best career paths often start with the tiniest salaries. The folks who end up best will hit grad schools, clerk, take some time to prepare for med school, etc. Or all the funky non-profiteers. The kinds who did weird stuff just to get into the great grad schools.

And the higher paying jobs - banking, consulting, pay the same salary to the top school kids.

That just not a very smart analysis you did.
