The entrance is on 15th street, just past the HSBC.

has anyone ever been inside? jk, but that building seems like it has mostly empty for the past five years.

I think a lot of out-of-towners parked their money in the building as a pied a terre or investment. Whenever I walk by at night, there's rarely any lights on. I think it's kind of a cool building (aside from the hideously despicable finishes), and the pricing actually seems reasonable when compared to other conversions like Walker Tower, 130 West 12th, or the Abingdon, but I think it would be awfuly odd and lonely living in a ghost town...

I was in there. I thought the finishes were of a specific designer type, but extremely well done if you like them. Certainly not cookie cutter. In the end, I just thought the maintenance seemed excessively high.

"of a specific designer type" is certainly one way to categorize it.

I'm not sure what's going on in those bathrooms (art deco, robber barron, "contemporary"), but I think it's just hateful - over-stylized and inconsistent design choices marred by an abundance of mixed finishes (brushed nickel with polished chrome?!) - pure chaos. I would have a nervous breakdown every time I tried to pinch a loaf.

Well, Wolf is very much a mix n' mingle type of interior designer, stylistically. It is a bit much, I agree. But that is a matter of taste, and could be discussed all day.

But the quality of the finish is very very high (the materials used and the seamlessness of the installation), and that's what I was referring to....

That is fair. I haven't been inside, but I think the building is conceptually very cool. Plus that indoor pool awakens my inner Caligula.
