also known as 100 W. 76th street. this building has been infested with rodents for over 5 mos. Management has sent exterminators numerous times but without much result. 80% of the occupied units have reported an on going rodent issue since Sept-Oct 2015. The management is now NOT renewing existing tenant's lease so they don't have to deal with tenant complaining. They have also been trying for many many years to kick out a rent stabilized tenant for years. They are terrible landlords and they will disrupt your life in many ways.

Thanks for the head up, JFCW. Have the rodent complaints been logged with the city or 311?

after over 4 mos of rodent infestation and the building management not being able to get rid of the problem, it was reported to 311 early January. From what I can see, 311 is on it and also some city officials are looking into it. It's mind boggling to think that you have to go to such lengths for building management to do their job properly and not just bandaid the situation. Their response has been, 'you can't leave any food out'. But in actuality, if there are no holes for the mice to be coming in and out, the food on the kitchen counter would be less of an issue. It's unheard of for a building to be infested with rodents for this many months. In all my years in NYC(20 + yrs), i've never experienced such disgusting problems.

The tenants of this building have to organize and withhold their rent, get an attorney to put it in an escrow account. This will send shivers down this landlord's spine at the thought of having to face a judge in landlord tenant court. Also have your attorney inquire if they can get a 7A administrator for the building. This is the only way to deal with this.

The management in this building illegally deducted fees from the security deposit after we moved out. Both Linda Rosenthal and the Attorney General's office recognizes the illegal activity and now involved to rectify the situation. Do NOT rent from Greystone Management if you value your time and efforts. It's appalling what they do.

This building unfortunately renovated many of the apartments in a cheap way so you can hear EVERYTHING from upstairs- I mean everything. The management office(Carol?) is power hungry and rude. She's an employee and acts like she owns the place. Just check their rent history - there is a reason why there's such a high turn over.
