Hi everyone! Thanks to everyone who helped my post about kitchen cabinets. We ended up going with Tarallo The Kitchen Source in the Bronx as they had the best estimate and timing for us. Anyway, I now have some questions about kitchen appliances, specifically about stoves, washer/dryer and dishwashers. We are getting a Sub Zero 27" fridge (I know its small but its all that will fit) and because of this there is the option to get the Wolf range and save $1000. So Wolf range ends up costing around $3200. Originally we thought we'd go for a less expensive stove. The GE Cafe Gas range Model CGS980SEMSS for $2100 or so or another brand in that price range. For dishwashers, we are paneling our dishwasher so I think the options are Bosch, Miele and KitchenAid. We were considering the Bosch SHV43P13UC which is the lowest price custom panel option from Bosch. Finally, does this sound like a decent price $11,000 for all appliances (Bosch Axis W/D--the more expensive Washer, Bosch dishwasher SHV43P13UC (the lower priced one) Wolf 30" Range and Viking over-the-range microwave, Sub-Zero 27" Fridge/Freezer, stacking kit for W/D)?? Would you go for the Wolf Range plus microwave/hood (I think we have to go with Viking for the microwave/hood as I don't believe Wolf makes one yet but I could be wrong) which will in total cost about $1500-$1800 more or so than a GE? Thanks! [less]

Tell him Jeff from Prime Renovations told you to call.
They should be able to get you the best prices
There were some comments (including mine) on another thread re: Bosch dishwashers' difficulty/expense of repairs.
Also, if you're having difficulty fitting in a refrigerator larger than 27", which is, as you know, small, you might want to re-think price points of the other appliances - as to not "over-improve" or spend money you might not recoup on a resale.
I haven't been in the market for appliances for quite a while, but $11,000 for all the appliances you quote sounds pretty reasonable.
I'd try to find lots of reviews of any low-end Bosch appliance you're considering. They're on quality alert compared with their perceived peer brands.

If we always worried about recouping on a resale no one would buy anything other than regular white Hotpoint appliances.
Not that that's a bad thing ...
ew13... When we renovated last year we bought the Wolf stove(48") and because of the amount of electricity we could apportion to appliances, had to get the one with two gas ovens instead of electric. It is fabulous but there is one drawback with gas ovens...they are not self-cleaning. If yours has electric ovens, no problem. We also put in the mid range Miele dishwasher and absolutley love it and there is no comparison to the kitchen aid i have in our other home. I have the stacking miele washer/dryer too but have never had a bosch so can't make the comparison though i think the miele is superb and again, far better than my maytags here.
